Sarah Wilds (she/her) started as a Library Professional on August 15th and is from next door, New Hampshire. An alum of UVM, she received her BA in history in 2014. She served in two emergency-related AmeriCorps programs, FEMA Corps and Ready Corps. In 2019, she received her MA in Public History from the University of North Carolina Charlotte (UNCC), and her MLIS in 2021 from the University of South Carolina. For the past five years, she has worked in UNCC’s special collections and a corporate archive in Washington, DC. Sarah enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with friends. She says, “I’m so excited to return to Vermont and UVM!”
Special Collections is thrilled to have Sarah on board. Her previous experience has allowed her to hit the ground running, jumping into a large project arranging and describing the records of Marlboro College, assisting an assessment of a significant number of titles for possible addition to our Rare Books collection, and helping to staff our reference desk. Please join us in welcoming Sarah to Special Collections.
