Special Collections staff are starting to pack for the move to the second level of Billings Library.
Our digital collections have moved! After 10 years of delivering content through a system designed and built by Center for Digital Initiatives staff, we have migrated into a new platform. Islandora, built and maintained by an international community, allows us to introduce some exciting new features.
2018 marks the year we leave our quarters in Bailey/Howe Library and take up residence in the historic Billings Library. We will be closed from July 9-August 19 for moving. We plan to reopen in Billings on August 20. Check here for construction updates and photos. Read our July updates now.
Enabling researchers to make use of our collections is one of Special Collections’ primary goals. Recently, we took an important step to assist researchers by joining the New England Regional Fellowship Consortium. Special Collections looks forward to welcoming NERFC fellows in 2019.
